Mommie Talk

Raising sufficient children means gradually releasing age appropriate task for them to responsible.  Always look for reasons why your children can accomplish a goal.  Educate them on the importance of being leader and know how to respond to different situations they may encounter.  You can role play or have casual conversation.

In today's world children have access to so much misinformation.  It is important to have conversations with your children on different subjects even if the topic is uncomfortable. This will help them have accurate information and know how to handle peer pressure.

When your child makes a mistakes redirect their behavior and encourage them to do better.  Do not enable your child when they do something wrong. Provide them with age appropriate discipline.  Remember discipline is suppose to teach your child a lesson.

To establish a trusting and open relationship with your child have conversations with them and don't be so quick to respond.  Listen and reflect on what is being said.

Encourage your children tell them they are smart and can accomplish their goals by being persistent.
