Ms. April

Ms. April D. McDaniel is a Detroit native that holds a Bachelors of Arts in English degree from Norfolk State and a Masters of Art in Education degree from University of Phoenix. She’s educated and an intellectual with a mind for advocacy and service. April continues to empower herself and is now pursuing a MBA in Marketing degree from Walsh College. A committed and courageous woman, she engages and volunteers within her community by participating in various events throughout Detroit. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, the fine arts, and spending time with her sons, Seth and Caleb.

Ms. Lisa

Ms. Lisa Card is a proud Detroit native and product of the Detroit Public School System.  She was raised in a single parent home with her mom Patricia M. Abner and older brother Kevin Card. She remembers having many positive interactions with her dad although he lived outside of the home.  Growing up in the city of Detroit is what has helped to shape Lisa as an adult. "My mom kept me busy"!  She attributes all of her successes, of course to God. Her mother stressed having faith and gave a never-ending push of love and support.
